１．Tokyo International Academy of Languages, Gregg International College and Japan Institute of Computer Design belong to Tokyo Business College. With a special agreement among the three schools, good students recommended by Tokyo International Academy of Languages can join Gregg International College and Japan Institute of Computer Design without taking examination. Moreover, our students do not have to pay the admission fee to those schools, and part of the tuition is exempted.
1)Our students can take English lessons while studying Japanese if they pay extra for those lessons. English words are often used in Japan, though not many Japanese people speak English. It is useful to know some English words to understand conversation among Japanese people. Those English lessons are also good to prepare for college entrance examinations. Our students can take English lessons through Internet or in person after school.
2)Our students can take part in supplementary classes for free of charge during spring, summer and winter vacations. Those who are behind the class can catch up with their classmates by studying extra during the holidays. Those who study at home by themselves during the vacations also can come to the school to ask questions.
3)Tokyo Business College has been offering high standard of service in language education since its foundation in 1964. Matsushita, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and other leading companies are among our clients. Through study and experience over the years, we have developed a very effective teaching method. With this method, our students can master speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills very quickly. Their Japanese ability will be good enough for college entrance examination in two years.
4)Our students can take counseling in Chinese, Korean, or English. Even if they are not good speakers of Japanese, they can talk freely in their native language about their problems in daily life and future plans. With those who speak their language, our students can feel comfortable and safe with us.

General Admission Information
Tokyo International Academy of Languages is accepting foreign students for its college preparation courses in Japanese Language Department. The classes of the courses are geared to prepare the students for college entrance examinations to Japanese colleges.

Requirement and Test
Tokyo International Academy of Languages accepts students with more than twelve years of school education and basic knowledge of Japanese. The academy makes its decision whether to accept the students after considering applications, interviews with the students and the financial guarantors. The academy notifies the result by mailing Letter of Acceptance. It will not answer any questions related to the results on the phone.

Course
Tokyo International Academy of Languages enrolls 60 students in April, July, and October, and 30 students in January. Depending on the date of enrollment in the school, the length of courses varies.

Each course has 20 hours of lessons a week.

Application
Applicants can bring or mail their application documents with the application fee of Yen 20,000 to Tokyo International Academy.

Tokyo International Academy of Languages accepts applications during the periods described below.

A complete application for admission must consists of the following:
(a). the applicants need to prepare the following documents.
-application form
-a copy of certificate of graduation of the last school attended or certificate of enrollment if the applicant is still a student.
- personal history
-purpose-of-study form
-6 photos of the applicant with 4.5 cm in height and 4.5 cm in width
- a copy of all pages of your passport
-proof of previous Japanese language study
-certificate of residence

(b). the financial guarantor needs to prepare the following documents if he / she is a relative living outside Japan
-Financial Guarantor Form
-documents showing the relationship between the applicant and the guarantor
-certificate of residence for the guarantor
-a copy of your bankbook
-Certificate of employment
-income statement for the past three years
-business license if he / she runs a business
-proof of tax payment

(c). the financial guarantor needs to prepare the following documents if he / she lives in Japan.
-Financial Guarantor Form
-Certificate of employment or Company registration
-proof of tax payment for the past three years
-certificate of alien registration
-documents showing the relationship between the applicant and the guarantor
-certificate of balance
-a copy of your bankbook

Enrollment
Successful applicants pay the following amount of money for the first year after receiving the letter of acceptance.

Upon receipt of the payment, Tokyo International Academy of Languages sends Residency Permit. There is no refund after the Residency Permit is granted.

After arriving in Japan students are expected to come to the academy with their passport, Letter of Acceptance, and the receipt of the above payment after the specified dates.
